Taking Time

I was talking with a friend the other day. Her life is a amazingly chaotic I know that we are what we make. I suggested for her to start meditating and recently I started doing Ah meditations in the morning and Om meditations at night. I mentioned it takes only twenty minutes to do a set of these meditations and she told me that she didn't even have 20 minutes a day in her life to do anything.

I recall many years ago it seemed like I didn't have 20 minutes to do a fitness workout at home. I saw an infomercial or something on relationships at the time and not making time was brought up. Anyway something struck my brain at making the time to do something for yourself.

I think we can become so caught up with everyone else that we forget about ourselves and when we reach this point that is especially time to stop and make time, take the time to stop and do something for yourself. I'm often asked how do you find all this time to write? I find the time because I've learned, "If it ain't fun, don't do it." So I do what is fun and writing is fun. Meditation is fun. Yoga is fun. I make life fun, because life is what we make it.
